Brooke Hogan Pole Dancing

Daughter of Hulk Hogan and reality TV star Brooke Hogan may not know who Sarah Pailin, or even who the Vice President of the United States and she has been receiving some flack for that. She presents a show called Brooke Knows Best and on last night’s episode she and her mum took a pole dancing class.

Brooke Knows Best features Pole Dancing

She has received some criticism for this but I think it was great. Brooke Knows Best shows Brooke Hogan and her mother Linda trying out a few moves. I think it is great that a show like this feels that pole dancing is out of its taboo enough to show it in a positive light. For me it shows how pole dancing has lost the stigma it once had and now is a sport or dance that anyone can take up. For a couple of pole dancing virgins they pull off some pretty impressive moves.
Well actually this is not Brookes first time on the pole. She added it to a concert she was giving back in March, actually comparing the performance in March with the way she moved on the pole on Brooke Knows Best I’d say it looks like she’s been practicing.

What type of Dance Pole is best?

Posted on 08 September 2009 by Miss Pole Dance

Stainless Steel and Brass Dance Poles compared

When you are deciding what type of pole buy one of the most important things to think about is what the dance pole is made of. There are two main types of dance pole, Stainless steel and brass.
Each type of pole comes with advantages and disadvantages.

Brass Dance Poles:

These are better suited to beginners as they allow a better grip. They are also useful if you tend to get sweaty palms while dancing as the brass dance pole give more grip.

Stainless Steel Dance Poles:

These are better suited to someone who is not scared of a bit of practice. They are more slippery than the brass dance poles but they do have some advantages once you have mastered them. Stainless steel dance poles build up your strength more as the smoothness requires more muscles to keep your grip. Steel dance poles are also more appropriate if you want to do spins as they will allow for faster spins and movements than a brass dance pole.
